Every person knows that there are different styles of hypnosis. Some styles of hypnosis are used to help people give up smoking, and other variations of hypnosis are used for mind control and manipulation. There is a thin line between Ericksonian Hypnosis and genuine hypnotic mind control

Needless to say, Ericksonian Hypnosis is the type of hypnosis that did wonders in therapeutic settings. But as we fully deliberate the scope of Ericksonian Hypnosis, we must also understand how it is related to NLP. NLP was invented by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, and much of there labor was based upon their findings of how the ideology of Ericksonian Hypnosis hypnotized people the human brain in therapeutic environments This is why Conversational Hypnosis and NLP have so many similar characteristics, because they are sister arts

Now, several years ago a man named Ross Jefferies studied NLP, and based upon the things he was taught, he created speed seduction Speed Seduction taught people to use Ericksonian Hypnotic language patterns to seduce women, but this method of seduction was proven to be ineffective as many men did not succeed in their attempts to use it. It was the weaknesses of Speed Seduction that led to the establishment of other male seduction schools that were not dependent upon the use of NLP language patterns.

But this movement that Ross Jefferies started did not prevent other people from attempting to apply the language patterns of NLP for persuasive and manipulative reasons. This was the beginning of what is known as Dark NLP. Dark NLP, and literally everything that is either indirectly or openly connected to it, has failed more than anything else in history in the art of persuasionand getting what you want. Dark NLP plainly is not effective, and there are countless reasons why it is not an effective method of persuasion. For one, there needs to be an conventional clinical setting in order for the language patterns and theories of Ericksonian Hypnosis to be effective. For instance, the shark is tremendously strong, but you can't remove the shark from the ocean and suppose it to be dominate. This identical rule pertains to Conversational Hypnosis.

When Dark NLP was created, the founders who were using it were trying to use the power of Ericksonian hypnosis techniques beyond the clinical settings where Ericksonian Hypnosis was successful. This just didn't happen then, it doesn't happen now, and it can't happen in the years to come. This shows us that lots of "persuasion gurus" are not teaching the accurate tools and social strategies to the heaps of students who are paying them for advice. So, the only individuals whom Dark NLP profits are the misleading "leaders" who are promoting it as if it were secretive teachings that was related to power persuasion.
