After your site is finished you want to get the site in the search engines. Google is #1, so that's where your focus should be. Start by submitting your site to the Google submission page, your site will appear in about a month.

To get heavy trafic, you've got to have your site optimized. Keywords are how you do this. It's easy to initially get the right keywords, but you next want to think like your surfer and use the terms and phrases they'd use.
